Haile Presents: Puppet

Image

Synopsis: Puppet is a track about about the social and psychological slavery that still goes on in America. This track is more like Haile – The Activist. The reason I chose an Easy Mo Bee track, is because this specific instrumental, originally rapped on by The Great Craig Mack , pulls the listener into the moment, and as an emcee, I wanted to use that moment to address the world, while paying homage to one of the greatest producers to ever bless Hip Hop, Easy Mo Bee. I hope you enjoy.

You’re Not A Rapper. Keep It Real and Quit Disrespecting Hip Hop.

I hate the fact that everyone thinks they’re a rapper. Most are just following trends. Ya’ll just crowd the leg room for people who do it for real life, and have real things to talk about. I compare rap to a million people who are trying to shop at the same boutique. Some of us really love and care about the clothing. Some of us passionately study the fashion, and know the designers, while other’s crowd the store just to stay up with the next man.  I can break down The “Every Other” rap fucker’s lyrics.

Yall ready?

Here it is … It’s The Bitches, The Money, The Fame, The Clothes, The Cars, The Street Life, The Attitude, The Glory , The Respect, The Haters, & The Cold Lyrics THAT YOU DON’T HAVE AND NEVER WILL HAVE.

Hip Hop once represented how we truly felt.  We weren’t afraid to keep it real all across the board. That’s why people gravitated towards it because we could relate. It was relevant, and custom to it’s real followers, not like this generic one size fits all radio bullshit. Would you go and take  a person to lunch who you can’t relate to and lies to you more than they tell the truth? (Sounds like a lot of relationships lol)but  If you said you  would…then fuck you, but if you wouldn’t, Then why the fuck are you buying their records, or spending your valuable time illegally downloading their toxic wastes? Because we ( and I mean WE) have been trained to be entertained by ignorance. I’m not trying to discourage anyone from doing anything, but if you want to do something, take the time out to study it! Go out and discover the hidden treasures, be that person to do it like no other can or ever will do it. I’m not the greatest, but one day I will not only be the greatest, but I’ll be the greatest in a lane that I created. Why because I care about my craft. It’s something that I brought to life, and I’ve decided not to neglect it.  I guess it makes sense why most of you “Rappers” are bad fathers.

Go To School, and Get a Job

and I’ll put it like this, Jordan didn’t become the Jordan we know, by doing nothing his entire life, and then waking up and winning Championships.  Michael Jackson didn’t learn to sing and dance, by sitting his ass on couches all day.  I’ll close this out with a hip hop reference.

Nas became a hip hop legend, not before, but AFTER he dropped out of the 9th grade. Listen to Illmatic or even his demo tape before that.  Why am I telling you to do this?, because if you listen to it you’ll think… he doesn’t sound like a drop out. He has a large vocabulary , and actually knows what he’s talking about! Why? because he cared enough about his craft to study! He studied everything, because he talks about everything! You don’t need traditional education to educate or to tell your real stories to the people.  If you just do you, and don’t worry about what the next man’s doing, most of you” Rappers” won’t even be rappin. We have future doctors, astronauts, painters, screen writers, barbers, stylists,  all trying to be rappers. Everyone has their own destiny. So with that said….

Don’t Fake The Shit, Know Your Self, Know Your Shit, Study The Shit, Master The Shit and Be The Shit. You’ll look up and you’ll have a trail of your shit all over the world … hahaha xD

it’s simple

This has been on my mind for a minute, but I just had to get it off my chest. I’m not going to close this out like a robotic school paper so thanks for reading , and if I had any typo’s… my bad, I’m rushing! - Haile

Haile Monster’s Letter to America on Race

Haile Monster's Letter to America on Race

Dear America,

Many folks (I hate to say it, but who are of the white privileged or of the black ignorant party) would say that racism no longer exists, and that it is in the past. Well they are wrong.

Yesterday, Barack Obama, who is half white, and was raised by his white mother and his white grandparents , was re-elected as President of The United States, but many people were upset, and majority of those people where white. Was it because they truly didn’t believe in his policies? No. Was it because he failed as POTUS during his first term? No. I firmly believe it was because of his skin color.

I personally did not care for President Bush, and many people in the black community didn’t. But did we bash him in the way that a lot of racist white people do Obama? No. Did we threaten Bush’s life and his family? No. Kanye West publicly spoke what majority of us in the black community were thinking at the time, but was what he said unfair, and was it really as bad as Bush made it seem, compared to the amount of hate that Obama has received? No.

-Stop and Think

-Now Read On

The point of this post is not to make black people seem awesome and white people seem terrible. The point of this is to voice my opinion on the hatred that’s going on in America. It needs to stop. A lot of the racist comments that were made on twitter after Obama won last night where absolutely ridiculous, and outright disgusting. We are all Human Beings, and it does not matter if you’re black, white, gay, straight, athiest, or firm believer. We are all Human Beings, and we are all born with the same exact capabilities. We all need each other. Obama needed the gay community’s vote to win this election, so if you needed Obama to win, and you hate gay people… stop right now and slap yourself. If you are a Christian and you needed Obama to win and you’re bashing Athiests right now….( or vice versa) stop and slap yourself, because we needed both Christians and Athiests’s vote to win this election. If you’re Black and you needed Obama to win this election and you hate white people, slap yourself, because we needed the white people’s votes to win this election. If you haven’t figured it out by now, Obama is more than The President of The United States. He is a symbol of Love, Equality and Unity, and that is what THE (and let me spell it out for you, because some of yall have forgotten)
U N I T E D S T A T E S O F A M E R I C A is all about. It’s in our name.

So to everyone who thinks they can run the country better than “The Nigger”, then you fuckin do it. As far as I’m concerned, majority of the world was celebrating last night, not because a black man was re-elected as The President of The United States, but because the RIGHT man was re-elected as The President of The United States.

It’s 2012, and almost 2013. All races and all people are equally capable of doing any and everything, so let’s think and live that way, because I’ll be celebrating when we have our first Mexican American President, or our first Women President. I’ll be celebrating when we have our first Homosexual president. Why? Because it’s not about ME or YOU. It’s about US, thus I’ll be celebrating the new definition or the new formula that represents America. No need for calculators, because it’s very simple. Listen to what I’ll say, and you’ll find that :

Unity +Equality+ Love(Will) = America

Now Let’s Get To Making Love.

Sincerely,

Haile Monster

“Damn of The Week” : Cleveland Bus Driver Falcon Punches Violent Woman

In my Big Sean voice, I had to stop and say ” Whoa”….” Oh Gawd”, when I first watched this video. I have never witnessed a punch like that in my life. Damn. Now I’m not writing to make a joke about this situation, but I’d like to ask my audience, what they think about this video, and here’s a question I asked my Facebook Friends:

“Damn. Why do a lot a women, feel it’s okay to hit dudes? I’m not condoning this situation at all. I just know that if she had kept her hands to herself, the bus driver wouldn’t have hit her that falcon punch. Am I the only one who thinks, everyone should just keep their hands to themselves? and aren’t both folks were wrong in this ? “

The reason I ask, is because I have seen guys get falcon punched and slapped out in public by their girlfriends, and the girls always think it’s perfectly fine. The moment a guy reacts, in the same way the girls did, the guy becomes Ike Turner, and the girl want’s to play innocent, when the police shows up. Then they haul the guy off to jail, and he has to do time, or be on probation and what not.

I personally would never react like the bus driver and like I said, I don’t condone this type of shit at all, but I’ve also never had a woman put her hands on me, because I don’t deal with those kind of women. But, I think it’s safe to say, that Everyone should just keep their hands to themselves. Men won’t have to serve jail time, women won’t have to get Falcon Punched.

What do you think on it?
